Eva Murray – Author’s Reading

Join Hope Library as we welcome Eva Murray of Matinicus to an in-person author’s reading on Thursday, March 9, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Hope Library, 443 Camden Road (town office building). Eva is well-known for her columns in a variety of publications and she is the author of three books, Well Out to Sea, published in 2010, Island Schoolhouse, published in 2012, and Island Birthday, published in 2015. As treasurer of the Matinicus Island Library Association, Eva understands the value of small libraries to their community.  This is a free vent but we will be passing the hat and will divide the proceeds between the Hope and Matinicus libraries.  Homemade baked goods and tea will will be served.

Eva has read for Hope Library patrons for the past two years on Zoom. We are happy she can make the trip for this special event.
