The mission of the Hope Library is to provide the community with a resource of books, programs, and other library services to meet their cultural, educational, informational, and recreational needs. The Hope Library is 100% volunteer staffed and governed, and funded solely by donations from in and around our small, rural town.

Open: Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (staffed 9-11)
Open: Thursday, noon to 6 p.m. (staffed 12-2 and 3-6)
Open: Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (staffed 10-12)
A library volunteer is on hand for a limited portion of each of these days.

Hope Library is always interested in what our patrons would like to find in the library collection. If there are books, audio books or DVDs that you would like to see in the library collection, please let us know.
The Hope Library invites full-time and part-time residents of Hope and neighboring towns who create fine art to apply for the exhibition of their works in our library. Preference will be given to work that fits our space and is suitable to a wide audience, including children. Exhibitions will be displayed for two months in the library’s main room and adjoining spaces. You can apply by email or by using the contact form on this website.
